Trudi Boatwright is a London-trained actress based in Melbourne whose expertise spans theatre, film, television, virals and corporate work.

Respected by her peers for her vitality and can-do attitude, Trudi graduated from The Actor Works in London (formerly The Academy Drama School) on a Post Graduate Stage Scholarship in 2007. After graduating, Trudi travelled to the US to take part in the Spolin Theatre Games in Wisconsin, before returning to work extensively in the UK. She has recently returned to her native Sydney.

Trudi is known for her professional work ethic and builds her reputation on the honesty with which she delivers each role, across all genres. Displaying her diverse range, Trudi has played a cult leader in Tobbell Films' Aimless and has brought to life many comic characters, such as Paige in Moira Buffini's Dinner.

Always active, Trudi teaches drama (including Spolin) to students aged 3 to 73 and is Artistic Director of In Company Theatre based in London.


Of her many interesting pursuits and adventurous experiences, Trudi is involved with an environmental charity, has conducted an orchestra, made her own didgeridoo, and put her hand in an elephant's mouth.
