Trudi has always used her ability for creative play to support her work. With a strong background in experiential learning, creative thought as a means of expression and a vibrant passion for the use of communication – Trudi has utilized her skills and ability to provide workshops for ages 3-70 in a wide varieties of fields. At the base of all Trudi’s work is an endless fascination for the intricacies of human interaction and a grounded belief that the ability for creative thought is a necessary asset to us all in both a work environment and our day to day lives.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
Years of experience in corporate role play and scenario training has led Trudi to becoming a director of her own company Serious Woo. Personally, she has been developed as a role play actor within a diverse range of industries from the medical fields (dealing with bad news, Urology Association of Australia and New Zealand) to sales/customer service (Telstra, Subscriptions Marketing) and communications (NAB Leadership).
She is also a regular actor and part of the team at REAL - Immersive Capability Experience. This is a unique centre unlike any other in Australia designed to provide high end Leadership and Capability coaching through experiential learning. Previously, she spent the last 5 years working consistently as both an actor and observer at the Building Leadership Simulation Centre. During those years, as the only female actor, she has been responsible for delivering over 150 varying scenarios. |

DRAMA / SPOLIN / CREATIVITY WORKSHOPS
Trudi has taught workshops in drama, devising, physical theatre, improvisation and creativity to all ages. In both the UK & Australia, she has worked term long with students aged 3-18 to teach acting and devising culminating in the end of term production (indeed, one of her career highlights was devising and scripting a play with 3-7 year olds). With adults, she has run workshops in Spolin and improvisation, as well as being one of the only Spolin side-coaches in the UK. ‘As the only other exclusively Spolin trained side coach in Britain, Trudi Boatwright was an invaluable member of the faculty at The Actor Works in London.
