Trudi Boatwright

With over 15 years experience as an actor, some of Trudi's highlights include the role of Dr Pitt in Wild East by April de Angelis on London's West End, filming a range of skits for Entertainment 19's comedy Channel Bee and playing Madame Black in the award winning comedy feature Aimless.
After completing a range of courses in Scene Studies and Improvisation at NIDA, Trudi moved to London where she won the Stage Newspaper scholarship to complete a Post Grad at the Academy Drama School. She has also travelled to the U.S. to study Story Theatre through Spolin with Bob Moyer and Max Schaffer.

She has recently been seen in the inaugural opening of the Poppyseed Festival as Amanda Wingfield in Project Hysteria, completed 3 years performing in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival as Luke Skywalker in a Star Wars spoof trilogy and haunted audiences as Agnes in the immersive Mr Naismiths Secret. She has also been educating kids by voicing Rocky in the CSIRO's animation series Science Adventures.

With a career that has blossomed in the world of dark comedy, Trudi is the winner of Best Actress for her work in Young Nefarious Minds, is a proud member of MEAA and is honoured to continue the tradition of a family based in entertainment - including a grandfather that created Australia's first radio jingle.
